How to Use Hyperliquid Multisig with UI Only — A Complete Guide

If you’ve been exploring Hyperliquid’s multisig feature and want to avoid using Python SDKs or offline signing — good news: you can do everything from the UI. This guide walks you through the full process, based on real-world experience.

✅ What You’ll Need

  • Rabby Wallet (latest version recommended)
  • Your Hyperliquid account must already be Vault-enabled
  • At least 2 authorized signers and a lead (transaction sender) wallet
  • Add HyperEVM to your wallet with the following config:
Network Name: Hyperliquid
RPC URL: https://rpc.hyperliquid.xyz/evm
Chain ID: 999
Currency Symbol: USDC(HYPE)

🧩 Key Clarifications

  • ✅ It’s okay if the signing prompt says “Arbitrum” — just proceed with signing.
  • ✅ You should click “Switch to Arbitrum” if the UI prompts it. It works fine.
  • ✅ The signer addresses must match case-sensitive format (avoid auto-lowercase).
  • Nonce values must match across all signatures — this is critical for success.

🔧 Step-by-Step: Signing & Sending Multisig from UI

1. Generate Signature 1

  • Connect the first signer’s Rabby wallet.
  • Go to Vault UI.
  • Click “Generate Signature 1”.
  • Sign the transaction — even if prompted to switch to Arbitrum.
  • Copy the signature and the wallet address.

2. Generate Signature 2

  • Switch to the second signer wallet.
  • Click “Generate Signature 2”.
  • Again, sign — Arbitrum will appear, and it’s totally fine.
  • Copy the second signature and address.
🧠 Note: The nonce must be identical for both signatures. You can get it from the UI before signing.

3. Send with Lead Wallet

  • Switch to the lead wallet (transaction sender).
  • Paste both signatures and both signer addresses into the fields.
  • Use “Copy address” buttons from wallet — address casing must match exactly.
  • Click “Send MultiSig” to complete.

🎯 Final Tips

  • Don’t worry if you see “Arbitrum” during signing — it’s valid.
  • Clicking “Switch to Arbitrum” is safe and recommended.
  • Case-sensitivity matters — use Copy Address buttons.
  • If signature fails, double-check that nonce matches and signer addresses are correct.
